20s plenty coming soon
City Council has confirmed Brook Lane, from Billesley Pub to Addison Road, is to be included in the Kings Heath 20mph phase 1 implemented in coming months. Birmingham is to join a growing number of towns across UK to impose 20mph limits to whole areas of residential roads.
In London and across Europe there are extensive ‘Mini Holland’ plans to make it easier to walk and cycle more often. Oslo will become the first major city to have an extensive car free city centre.

| Garden project sets root
2 years since the first trees were planted everything blooming and fruiting. Cars used to park on the grass & the area became a mudbath. The willow is well established and we will continue litterpicking and extending green and attractive areas across and beyond Swan Corner.
‘Playing Out’ set to continue
Two ‘playing out’ days ran Wheelers Lane this summer, one with Woodcraft Folk, both with Active Parks. We continue to support this pioneering scheme bringing communities together and providing opportunities for all to play and chat outside our own houses.
